Full Job Description Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00/ hr Job description: Work with an incredible team putting out catered events through the year. Easy Entertaining is a full service catering company. Our kitchen focuses on scratch cooking, sustainability, and offering our guests the best experience through our food. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Catering Prep Cook to join our team. As a Catering Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing various food items and assisting with the preparation of meals for events being produced each week, ensuring everything is ready for our catering team to deliver delicious and high-quality food. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, process and mise ingredients according to recipes and instructions. Assist in the initial prep and par cooking of food for events. Plattering & portioning food for events. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area. Work alongside chefs and other kitchen staff. Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards and ready for service.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred but not required. Depth of cooking knowledge across various stations and food types. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices. Team player with excellent communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.

Expected Hours:

Monday - Friday 6:00/8:00a-2:00/4:00p, some weekend work required with prior notice
