The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation and handling. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards of excellence. If you have a love for cooking and a commitment to food safety, we want to hear from you. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to sanitation practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or fine dining industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation of dishes. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
