As a Prep Cook, you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and ensuring all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning fresh produce and other food items according to recipes and standards Assist with cooking tasks such as sautéing, grilling, baking, and assembling dishes under the supervision of head chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring all tools and utensils are sanitized and properly stored Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials or upcoming events Help with food service operations by plating dishes accurately and efficiently during busy service hours Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation of meals while maintaining high quality standards Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Experience working in food preparation, catering, or restaurant settings is preferred Strong knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures Proficiency in culinary skills such as knife handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others Join us as a Prep Cook and bring your enthusiasm for food to life!
