The role requires an individual with a background in the food industry who are eager to contribute to meal preparation and service in a pub dining environment. The Cook will play a crucial role in ensuring that all food is ordered, received stored and prepared safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Cook will have the primary responsibility of running a kitchen, including but not limited to ordering product, receiving product, storing it, then portioning those items to the proper cooler/freezers. Meal preparation will be an equally important roll the cook will be conducting. Prepare and cook food items while adhering to food safety regulations. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Utilize knife skills for meal preparation and presentation. Provide excellent customer service while serving meals to guests. Qualifications Previous experience in a commercial kitchen in required for the position Candidate must posses a food handling safety licenses. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and fine dining service. Familiarity with menu planning and catering operations is a plus. Experience in restaurant or culinary settings is highly desirable. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal presentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of service. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
