Duties will consist of assisting the kitchen staff with: Responsibilities Prepare and cook flatbread and salad items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and equipment before the start of each shift. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all sanitation and safety guidelines. Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and plated attractively. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Assist with food prep tasks, including dicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management. Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests. Assist in cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and all equipment Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Be a team player, willing to jump in and help wherever needed to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly. Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook in a fast paced, busy kitchen.
