Must be reliable and experienced working in a busy pub - high volume burgers wings pasta seafood etc menu is large. Job can be part time or full time and we promote from within for managerial positions as they come available Thank-You for your interest Overview We are looking for a passionate and reliable Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, responsible for preparing delicious meals with precision and care. Whether you're chopping, cooking, or plating, your skills will help ensure our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines. Assist with meal assembly, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery during busy service hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food handling and storage practices. Support kitchen operations by helping with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow and excellent service delivery. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus. Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods is highly desirable. Strong knife skills and experience in meal preparation are important for efficiency and quality. Understanding of food safety standards, food handling practices, and catering operations will help you excel in this role. Experience in the food industry or culinary field demonstrates your commitment to delivering top-notch meals. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail ensures consistent quality during busy periods.
