Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing meals while adhering to food safety standards. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Fun atmosphere! Must be available to work weekends. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests. Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen procedures. Requirements Must be available to work weekends. Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
