Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and components for menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in cooking, plating, and finishing dishes with attention to detail and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety protocols Support menu planning by preparing daily specials or seasonal offerings as directed Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations when needed Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or dietary departments is preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques are essential Familiarity with food preparation, meal assembly, and food safety standards Experience working in dietary aide roles or dietary departments is a plus Knowledge of menu planning and food handling best practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Prior kitchen experience demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
