Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cook . As a Cook , you will play a crucial role in the culinary operations of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in meal preparation, menu planning, and providing support in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for cooking and the food industry to contribute to our team.Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the culinary team
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Help with menu planning, including suggesting new dishes and incorporating dietary restrictions
- Support catering events by assisting with food preparation, setup, and cleanup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and storage
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Skills:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and menu planning
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
