  • Full-time Job Summary Join our vibrant childcare facility as a Food Service Manager, where your culinary skills will play a vital role in nurturing young minds and supporting their growth.
In this energetic role, you will prepare nutritious, appealing meals tailored to the dietary needs of children, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Your culinary expertise will help create a positive mealtime experience that promotes health, happiness, and development for the children in our care. Responsibilities Prepare and cook balanced, kid-friendly meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and menu plans Plan menus that incorporate nutritious ingredients while accommodating allergies and special dietary requirements Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Manage inventory of food supplies, monitor expiration dates, and place orders to ensure consistent availability of ingredients Requirements Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within childcare or similar settings Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and menu planning with a focus on nutritious offerings for children Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Skilled in food industry practices including kitchen operations, food service, catering, and serving Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques suitable for a childcare environment Experience with fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us in creating a warm, healthy environment where children thrive through delicious, wholesome meals prepared with care!
