Duties Prepare and cook items such as meats, vegetables, and seafood according to established recipes and standards Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients for service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and prep areas in compliance with food safety regulations Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all menu item Assist in plating dishes attractively and efficiently for service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold high standards of food quality and presentation Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or food service environment is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and food handling practices Experience with menu planning, catering, or restaurant operations is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues Join us as a Grill Cook/Prep Cook where your culinary talents will shine!
