Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic to join our culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the dietary department by preparing nutritious and appealing meals, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties Assist with menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing meals that meet dietary guidelines and individual preferences Prepare and cook a variety of food items using proper food handling and safety procedures Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal Help with food service operations, including serving meals efficiently and courteously Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations Handle food ingredients carefully, practicing proper knife skills and food preparation techniques Support catering events or special meal occasions as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Skills Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Excellent food handling practices with an emphasis on food safety standards Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or kitchen environments Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Proficiency in using culinary tools such as knives safely and effectively Knowledge of food service operations, including serving techniques and catering support Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting Join us to bring your culinary passion to life!
