Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items with precision and efficiency, ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and culinary arts will help create a welcoming dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by preparing various food items for daily service and special events Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning to minimize waste Support the kitchen team in meal preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service Follow all safety guidelines related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use Contribute to catering events by preparing and serving food in accordance with client specifications Skills Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and meal assembly Experience in restaurant or food industry settings demonstrating proficiency in cooking and food service Familiarity with menu planning, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Knowledge of catering services and serving practices is a plus Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through your culinary expertise! $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
