Today Job Description Full job description Overview Moccasin Creek Country Club seeking help in their newly remodeled Clubhouse and state of the art kitchen. We are looking for driven, individuals to join the team as Line and Prep Cook. Competitive wages, free golf privileges, year-round employment, and more. This role requires collaborating with an Executive Chef. Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment are a must. Responsibilities Full time available. Some day shifts may be needed, but majority of the shifts would be night-time hours from 3 pm until 10pm or later Can function in a high-volume kitchen w/ the ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time effectively Experience with and/or a willingness to explore a variety of cuisines, techniques, and styles of cooking is mandatory Physical stamina to stand & move throughout the duration of a shift Open availability including nights & weekends Works well collaboratively and individually Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, high level food handling and storage standards & procedures Setting up, organizing, working, replenishing & cleaning a professional workstation Committed to sustainable kitchen practices Requirements Strong cooking skills with at least 2 years working a grill, fryer, sauté, and char broiler Cook according to direction from Chef, follow recipes and quality expectations and building of dishes according to and club standards Excellent organization and time management skills Keep stations stocked, maintained for cleanliness and organization Adequate knife skills Be able to stand/walk/be active for a full shift (up to 8 hours) Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition Follow all safety standards Follow proper food safety and sanitation policies Report to Chef and other supervisors as directed Perform all duties with a sense of urgency and to the expected standards
