Responsibilities Review food menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared and any therapeutic diets. Prepare and serve meals as specified in menus and recipes using Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. Maintain stock of food, beverage items and supplies along with marking time and date for all food items. Assist in serving meals and clearing the dining area. What You'll Bring Prior experience working in food service, is preferred. Strong understanding of cooking techniques, recipes, and food preparation methods. Strong verbal communication skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards. ServSafe knowledge, is preferred. Commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time and work in extreme hot and cold conditions. Must be able to work within standard policy and procedures and work with limited direct supervision. Must have the ability to handle a variety of tasks and functions and react calmly in emergency situations. Must work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
