Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior cooking experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while standing for extended periods. Schedule & Pay Full Time 8am to 5pm and 1 hour for lunch Pay based on experience Works with inmates Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes Ensure proper food preparation, handling, and storage Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations Present food in an appealing and appetizing manner Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Qualifications Previous cooking experience required Knowledge of special diets preferred Must be at least 18 years old (position located within a jail facility) Ability to pass a drug test and background check Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes Ability to stand for extended periods Reliable transportation Benefits Health Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, Cancer, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability Paid Time Off Holiday pay: time and a half on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Double time pay on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 401(k) eligibility after one year of service Team member referral incentives Equal Opportunity Employer Consolidated Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA/M/F/D/V).
