Job Description
Part-Time Dietary Cook Decatur Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is a leading senior care provider dedicated to providing a compassionate, patient-centered health care experience through a culture of caring, quality, and excellence in the communities we serve. Part-Time Dietary Cook Position Summary The Dietary Cook role includes the following responsibilities: Review menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meal. Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager. Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time. Process diet changes and new diets as received from clinical. Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary. Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels. Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services. Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
