The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced setting, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Previous experience in dietary departments, catering, or food service is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and work within a professional kitchen environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various dining services Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other utensils Support food service operations by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment during busy service hours Follow dietary guidelines when preparing meals for specific dietary needs or restrictions Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is preferred Background in dietary aide work or dietary departments is advantageous Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Prior experience in catering, serving, or the food industry is beneficial Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required This position offers an engaging opportunity for culinary professionals to grow their skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.
