Job Description
A Lead Line Cook is responsible for overseeing the work of line cooks, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and restaurant standards, and maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepping ingredients and assisting in cooking menu items based on recipes Supervising line cooks and coordinating kitchen operations Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and proper storage of ingredients Plating and garnishing meals according to presentation standards Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring portion control Communicating with chefs, kitchen staff, and waitstaff regarding orders and dietary requirements Qualifications Culinary expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines Leadership and communication skills to manage and coordinate the kitchen team Time management and organizational skills to ensure timely meal preparation Attention to detail for food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Physical stamina to work long hours in a high-pressure kitchen environment •Benefits are available upon meeting eligibility requirements.
