The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. At the Amarillo Club we pride ourselves on making as many products in house as possible, both for our A la carte lunch and dinner services as well as our Banqueting and Catering Events. While we would prefer someone with experience cooking seafood, we are willing to train the right candidate. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling practices Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper storage of food items Utilize knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency Participate in events as required, providing excellent food service to clients Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent knife skills and experience with meal preparation Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred Knowledge of menu planning and catering services is advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
