Curated chapter by chapter, Stories Ranch Kitchen is a special farm-to-table dining experience inspired by the big cattle ranches and plentiful game of Central Texas, as well as the bounty of our region's farms. Your responsibilities go beyond the kitchen-you're not just preparing food, you're crafting flavors, ensuring presentation perfection, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes with precision and creativity. Master every dish on the menu, while staying ahead of the latest food trends and market innovations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and refine existing ones. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Manage multiple tasks and stations efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate service. Demonstrate leadership skills and advanced culinary knowledge in high-pressure situations. What we're looking for: Proven experience in a hotel or high-end restaurant setting. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training. Comprehensive knowledge of cooking ingredients, techniques, and procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
