Role:

As a Cook, you will prepare quality food that tastes great and is consistent from day to day. This position is critical to our operation, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of product preparation while maintaining the highest quality products and services for each customer.

What You'll Do:

Ensure every guest has a positive, lasting impression of the Wingstop experience. Practice safe cooking procedures at all times. Quickly scan and comprehend order tickets. Accurately count Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings, and Boneless Strips needed for each order. Coordinate cooking times with corresponding timers. Sauce, season, and package all orders according to Wingstop standards. Cook and prepare wings and fries in proper fryers and baskets. Filter and freshen fryer shortening daily, following all safety procedures. Keep the kitchen clean throughout the shift and assist with closing duties. Notify the Manager on Duty of any safety, sanitation, or employee issues. Assist other employees as needed and follow directions from management. Looking For:

High school diploma or GED. 1 year of professional cooking, cooking, or line cook experience (preferred). Food Handler Certification (required). Guest service mentality with a genuine desire to serve the customer. Ability to maintain a calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with urgency and follow-through. Well-organized and detail-oriented. Strong work ethic and outgoing personality. Ongoing learner with an interest in self-improvement.
