Duties Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with menu planning to offer appealing breakfast options that meet dietary needs and preferences. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently. Maintain strict food safety standards by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, organized, and functioning properly to facilitate smooth operations. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service, serving guests promptly and courteously. Support catering or special event breakfast setups when needed, ensuring timely delivery of meals. Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within restaurant or culinary environments. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques suitable for breakfast dishes. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling perishable ingredients. Experience with menu planning, catering services, and fine dining standards to elevate guest experiences. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation. Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and serve guests professionally.
