Basic Function We are looking for a creative and organized individual that can prepare food to the executive chef's specifications in a fast paced, high volume kitchen. Responsibilities Set up and maintain cooking stations by cleaning and restocking. Work closely with others preparing and ensuring that food comes out at the highest quality in a timely manner. Requires ability to follow verbal directions from Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Keep area clean by following sanitation and safety standards. Requirements Texas Food Handlers Certification a must. 2+ years of Line Cooking a plus. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to withstand heat from appliances. Working Relationships Reports to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all resort departments.
