We are a high-energy, guest-focused resort where delivering exceptional food and unforgettable experiences is what we do best. Our culinary team plays a key role in creating memorable dining moments across our restaurants, food trucks, and event operations. As a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food while maintaining strong safety and cleanliness standards. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Execution:
Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards. Plate dishes consistently with attention to presentation and detail. Execute orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume service periods. Coordinate timing with other kitchen stations to ensure smooth and timely service. Adjust workflow as needed to accommodate guest volume and special requests.
Kitchen Operations & Safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines. Properly store food items to prevent spoilage or contamination. Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues. Comply with all health department regulations and company policies.
Team Support & Additional Duties:
Assist other cooks and food & beverage team members as needed. Support prep work, opening, and closing duties. Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of indoor and outdoor dining areas, ensuring coastal elements (sand, salt air, humidity) do not impact guest experience. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall kitchen operations.
Customer Experience:
Contribute to a positive guest dining experience through consistency, quality, and efficiency. Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service. Maintain composure and professionalism during high-pressure service periods.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred. Experience in high-volume restaurant, resort, or food service environment preferred. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment. Must adhere to all company policies and health standards.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak season hours based on resort operations and events.
