Our menu blends elevated breakfast classics, creative brunch dishes, specialty coffee drinks, and a lively bar program featuring mimosas, Bloody Marys, spiked coffees, and brunch cocktails. At Toast To That!, brunch should feel like a celebration — whether guests are catching up with friends, enjoying family time, or starting their weekend. Our restaurant operates primarily during morning and brunch hours , which means no late nights and a balanced schedule. We are building a team that thrives in a high-energy kitchen environment , and we're looking for cooks who take pride in quality, teamwork, and consistency. Position Overview The Line Cook at Toast To That! is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes quickly and consistently during busy brunch service. This role works closely with the kitchen leadership team to ensure food is prepared according to recipe standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. Line Cooks play a critical role in ensuring guests receive great food every time. Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment including flat tops, fryers, ovens, and charbroilers
  • Maintain proper portioning, cooking techniques, and plating presentation
  • Follow prep lists and station responsibilities before service Service Execution
  • Work efficiently during busy brunch rush periods
  • Maintain speed and accuracy while cooking multiple orders
  • Communicate clearly with other cooks and the expo station
  • Ensure dishes are prepared correctly and sent out promptly Kitchen Standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Properly store and label ingredients
  • Assist with daily kitchen cleaning tasks Teamwork
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service
  • Assist with prep work and restocking ingredients
  • Support other stations when needed during busy shifts Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who:
  • Has 1+ years of kitchen or line cook experience
  • Thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Works well under pressure
  • Takes pride in food quality and presentation
  • Is reliable, organized, and team-oriented
  • Has weekend availability Brunch or breakfast experience is a plus , but not required. Schedule
  • Morning and brunch shifts
  • Weekend availability required
  • No late-night shifts Typical hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Compensation & Benefits
  • $15 - $20 per hour depending on experience
