$11.00 - $13.00 per hour (based on experience) About the Role We're hiring Cooks at our KFC location in College Station, TX! If you're a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for serving quality food, we want you on our team. Prior cooking experience is preferred — but we're willing to train the right candidate who brings energy, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Come help us serve up the world's best chicken! Responsibilities Hand-bread and prepare KFC's world-famous chicken to brand standards with care and consistency Prepare and cook food items following KFC recipes, procedures, and quality standards Maintain a fast speed of service, especially during peak and rush hours Keep a clean, sanitized, and well-organized kitchen station before, during, and after each shift Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas Manage food storage and ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) food handling practices Partner with team members to manage products and fulfill guest orders accurately and efficiently Adhere to all health, safety, and food safety codes and KFC standards during every shift Arrange and present food to meet KFC's appearance and quality standards Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team and guest needs Requirements Prior cooking or food service experience preferred (fast food, restaurant, or kitchen background a plus) Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork skills Honest, dependable, and punctual Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a warm kitchen environment Slip-resistant shoes required Benefits Competitive pay: $11.00 - $13.00/hr Paid training provided Open availability required (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays) Employee meal discounts Opportunities for advancement within the team How to Apply Apply in person at 2501 Texas Ave, College Station, TX 77840 or submit your application online.
