Role:

As a Dietary Cook at Avir at Corpus Christi, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality meal services to our patients and residents. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals, including special dietary needs and preferences.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to recipe and patient/resident dietary needs Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety standards Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies Collaborate with dietitians and nutritionists to ensure accurate and personalized meal planning Provide exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and staff Assist with tray service and delivery of meals to patients and residents Maintain accurate records of meal services and patient/resident preferences

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education or experience preferred 1+ years of experience as a cook or dietary aid in a healthcare setting Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills
