Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and quality control measures. Lead and manage a diverse team of kitchen staff, including cooks, food handlers, and service personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies. Plan menus in collaboration with culinary management, incorporating dietary considerations and catering requirements for various events. Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and health codes to guarantee a safe dining environment. Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, provide coaching and training to enhance skills and efficiency. Coordinate with catering services, banquet operations, and restaurant management to deliver seamless food service experiences across all outlets. Skills Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in catering and event food production. Proven supervising experience within the food industry, demonstrating effective team management and leadership capabilities. In-depth knowledge of dietary department practices, menu planning, and food handling safety standards. Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Experience in fine dining environments with an emphasis on presentation quality and customer satisfaction. Excellent inventory control skills with the ability to manage food production levels efficiently. Familiarity with restaurant management systems, shift management protocols, and hospitality best practices.
