United Staffing Solutions is representing an assisted living community in Dallas, Texas who is looking for Full Time Line Cooks to join thier team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team, preparing and delivering menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. You will be responsible for various stations, from grill and sauté to fry and pantry, ensuring that every plate served meets our high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.

5 days a week, restuarant hours are Mon-Sat 11am-8pm, Sun 8am-4pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the

Line Cook:

Execute pre-preparation, setup, cooking, and order service for a diverse range of menu items. Work in various stations including Grill Cook, Sauté Cook, Fry Cook, Pantry Cook, and Short Order Cook. Follow production schedules, recipes, and portion guidelines to prepare meals efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils using a 'clean as you go' approach. Adhere to safe food handling practices, ensuring proper temperature maintenance and HACCP guidelines. Collaborate with fellow team members and communicate effectively with expeditors and service staff. Uphold the highest standards of quality, freshness, and presentation for all dishes. Work efficiently during peak service times while minimizing waste and maintaining food quality. Embrace feedback and continuously improve your skills and techniques.
