Duties Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and menu plans, ensuring nutritional accuracy and presentation appeal Assist in menu planning by suggesting new recipes and meal options that meet dietary needs and preferences Handle food with care, following strict food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Support food preparation activities, including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning meals efficiently Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards Provide excellent food service by serving meals with professionalism and a friendly attitude Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special diets and dietary restrictions while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Previous experience in dietary or food service roles, particularly within dietary departments or healthcare settings Hands-on experience with menu planning, meal preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures Culinary experience that includes knife skills, food presentation, and meal assembly Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments, including catering or food industry roles Excellent communication skills for serving customers or residents effectively Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through culinary excellence!
