Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Experience Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols. Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department requirements is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and proficiency with various cooking techniques. A team player with strong communication skills who can work well with others in a busy environment.
