This role is essential in providing high-quality food service and meal preparation in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly with experience in dietary departments, menu planning, and fine dining. A passion for cooking and food safety is crucial to ensure that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning to create balanced and appealing meal options. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during meal times. Provide catering services for special events as needed. Utilize knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety. Serve meals with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent knife skills and ability to prepare various types of cuisine. Experience in catering services is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of service. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
