Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable taking on a variety of kitchen duties. Must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

Plating and preparing Tex-Mex dishes with attention to presentation and portion control Occasionally cooking items on the stove or fryer as needed Dishwashing and maintaining a clean and organized dish area End-of-shift cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash Assisting with kitchen prep, restocking, and general back-of-house support Following food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols at all times

Requirements:

Must speak Spanish (fluently or conversationally enough to work with team) Prior kitchen experience is a plus, but not required Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Reliable transportation and punctuality Must hold a valid food handler certificate (required for employment)
