Job Description

Join our team at Encantada Cocina + Cantina, located just a short walk from the Historic District of Georgetown Square! We are looking for passionate and energetic line cooks to create memorable dining experiences alongside our kitchen manager and talented crew. In this role, you'll showcase your skills in grilling, broiling, roasting, or frying while preparing, plating, and garnishing dishes. You'll maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, as we prioritize safety and cleanliness.
  • Essential Functions:
  • Bring high-volume restaurant experience
  • Follow food handling and safety procedures
  • Prepare, produce, and plate menu items.
  • Thoroughly understand recipes and procedures.
  • Stock and prepare necessary supplies for your station.
  • Clean and organize your station before, during, and after shifts.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist other stations and the prep kitchen.
  • Communicate the status of your station effectively.
  • Engage in regular cleaning and upkeep of equipment.
  • Performance Standards:
  • Support Health Department inspections and housekeeping reviews.
  • Strive for positive food reviews and meet performance standards.
