Catering Cook Company Overview We are a professional catering company specializing in high-quality food production for international airlines. Our team prepares fresh, safe, and consistent meals that meet airline standards and customer expectations. We are seeking an experienced and dependable cook to join our kitchen operations team. Job Summary The Catering Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a high-volume commercial kitchen environment while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and airline presentation standards. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced production setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and airline specifications Ensure food quality, taste, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations Assist with portioning, packaging, and labeling meals for airline delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment Monitor food inventory and report shortages or waste Work closely with kitchen supervisors and production teams to meet flight schedules and deadlines Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Support daily kitchen prep and production activities as needed Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience as a cook in catering, airline catering, hotel, restaurant, or large-scale food production preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Culinary training or food handling certification is a plus Skills Food preparation and cooking Time management Attention to detail Team collaboration Ability to follow recipes and production schedules Multitasking under pressure
