Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pasta Maker/Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking fresh pasta dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your energetic approach to food preparation and dedication to culinary excellence will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a love for Italian cuisine, food industry experience, and a flair for fine dining to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Duties Prepare fresh pasta dough and shape various pasta types according to traditional recipes and restaurant standards Cook pasta to the correct texture, ensuring optimal flavor and consistency Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pasta dishes and seasonal specials Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pasta station and kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and smooth service flow Handle food ingredients carefully, practicing proper food handling techniques at all times Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pasta dishes with attention to detail and presentation Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook within a restaurant or culinary setting Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to dietary needs and restrictions Fine dining experience or work in upscale restaurants is preferred, emphasizing quality presentation and precision Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Passion for culinary arts, especially Italian cuisine, with a focus on authentic pasta making Join us to craft delicious pasta dishes that delight our guests!
