The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a café or restaurant setting, and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. Assist in managing inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns from patrons. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or culinary roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of retail math concepts related to inventory control is beneficial. A team player who can help foster a positive work atmosphere.
