The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent food service. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Assist with menu planning and meal presentation to ensure appealing and nutritious offerings Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures at all times Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained Support food preparation activities for catering events or special functions Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure continuous operation Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant, catering, or healthcare setting, especially Wok cooking experiences Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Experience with menu planning and fine dining or food industry standards preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required Join our team as a Cook and bring your culinary expertise to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
