We are seeking experienced cooks who can work with urgency, maintain food quality standards, and operate efficiently during high-volume shifts. This position requires strong kitchen experience, food safety knowledge, cleanliness, organization, and the ability to maintain consistent ticket times while working as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare food according to Main Bird recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures Maintain fast ticket times while ensuring accuracy and quality on every order Properly stock and rotate products using FIFO methods and "Use First" procedures Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitation standards throughout the shift Restock cook stations, fry stations, sauces, seasonings, and prep areas as needed Operate fryers, prep stations, grills, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Assist with fryer filtering, boil-outs, cleaning procedures, and closing duties when assigned Maintain cleanliness and organization of all BOH areas including stations, fryers, vents, prep sinks, dish areas, and floors Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, containers, utensils, and kitchen equipment properly Communicate effectively with shift leads and team members during rush periods Follow all food safety, sanitation, uniform, attendance, and operational standards Assist other stations when needed to support kitchen efficiency and teamwork Qualifications Previous cook or kitchen experience is
REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED is
REQUIRED
Valid ServSafe certification is
REQUIRED
Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace Experience in fast food, quick service, or high-volume restaurant environments preferred Ability to work morning, mid-shift, night, weekend, and holiday shifts Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, FIFO rotation, and kitchen organization Ability to multitask and maintain urgency in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of following leadership direction Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy products when necessary Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills required Additional Expectations Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the entire shift Complete all assigned cleaning tasks and side work before clocking out Maintain full uniform compliance and professional workplace standards daily Demonstrate consistency, urgency, teamwork, and attention to detail during every shift
