Join our hospitality‑driven senior living community as a Fine Dining Cook , where you'll prepare fresh, high-quality meals that bring comfort, care, and connection to residents each day. What You'll Do Under the direction of the Executive Chef, prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs Review menus and gather ingredients for meal prep Follow recipes and production sheets to prepare nutritious, cost-effective meals Ensure food quality through progressive cooking and presentation techniques Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Collaborate with a caring team to create a positive dining experience Adhere to sanitation, safety, and kitchen opening/closing procedures Meet service deadlines for tray line, cafeteria, and catering Assist in training new food service staff Report maintenance needs and equipment issues Follow prep schedules and properly store, label, and rotate ingredients Maintain accurate inventory and supply documentation Practice safe food handling—hot food hot, cold food cold Clean and sanitize cooking equipment per guidelines Perform other duties as assigned What You Will Bring High School Diploma/GED Previous cooking experience in healthcare required Previous fine-dining line cook experience required Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards A team player with a heart for serving seniors Ability to work efficiently and with compassion Commitment to providing respectful, resident-centered service Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Ability to read, speak, write and comprehend English Health screening and TB tests, state specific ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card, state specific Alcohol awareness certification, state specific Ability to pass a background check, state specific Physical and Sensory Requirements This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
