In this role, you'll play a vital part in meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Assist in planning nutritious and appealing menus tailored to dietary needs and preferences Prepare, cook, and serve meals with precision, ensuring all food handling and safety protocols are followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering to strict sanitation standards Handle food procurement, storage, and inventory management efficiently to minimize waste Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences in a fast-paced environment Participate in catering events or special meal occasions, showcasing your culinary creativity and serving skills Experience Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide background is highly preferred Hands-on kitchen experience in restaurants or food industry settings demonstrates strong culinary skills Knowledge of meal preparation and food safety regulations is essential Proficiency with knife skills, food handling, cooking techniques, and food presentation enhances your effectiveness Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and serving customers or residents effectively We're committed to fostering a positive work environment that values your creativity and dedication.
