Job Description

Prepares and assembles dishes according to recipes and orders, maintains food quality and consistency, and ensures a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment. Ability to listen, understand, and respond to team member and guest requests in a loud environment. Must be able to work well as part of a team. Food preparation and plating skills Organization and workstation setup Ability to follow recipes and execute orders accurately Knowledge of food safety and sanitation Consistency and attention to detail We are El Mercado, a fast-casual restaurant concept focused on Mexican cuisine, designed to combine authenticity, operational efficiency, and bold flavors. Our menu centers on bowls and the option to turn it into a burrito. Made with fresh ingredients, bringing together traditional Mexican flavors with a modern counter-service format built to deliver quality, speed, and consistency.
