The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in kitchen operations, food preparation, and handling. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant setting or catering events. The Cook will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality presentation and service. Provide support to kitchen staff by helping with food preparation tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food service or restaurant industry. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus but not required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
