Job Description

Prepares ingredients ahead of service, such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and organizing items to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment. Ability to listen, understand, and respond to team member and guest requests in a loud environment. Must be able to work well as part of a team. Food preparation skills (ingredient prep, chopping, portioning) Organization and workstation setup Ability to follow recipes and instructions Basic food safety knowledge We are El Mercado, a fast-casual restaurant concept focused on Mexican cuisine, designed to combine authenticity, operational efficiency, and bold flavors. Our menu centers on bowls and the option to turn it into a burrito. Made with fresh ingredients, bringing together traditional Mexican flavors with a modern counter-service format built to deliver quality, speed, and consistency.
