Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning ideas, special event catering, and daily specials to enhance the dining experience. Maintain proper knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and portioning of ingredients. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, particularly in fine dining or catering settings. Strong culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety. Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly for diverse dietary needs. Excellent knife skills coupled with the ability to work quickly under pressure during peak hours. Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
