We are looking for an experienced banquet/prep cook to join our team of difference makers at The Golf Clubs at The Tribute. Schedule:
Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday Weekend availability Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled and stored properly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required. Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or culinary field is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Capability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high standards of quality. Willingness to learn new techniques and improve culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
