Responsibilities Prepare and execute outstanding dishes in accordance with Windmills' recipes and plating standards. Embrace the flavors of Indian fusion through spice blending, traditional sauces, and modern interpretations. Accurately weigh, measure, and prep ingredients with attention to freshness, quality, and consistency. Operate grills, ovens, fryers, steamers, and other kitchen equipment with confidence and care. Garnish and present dishes that are both flavorful and visually stunning. Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and kitchen organization. Report safety incidents and uphold food handling compliance in accordance with Texas health regulations. Participate in cross-training across kitchen stations to support team performance and versatility. Collaborate with chefs and teammates to deliver a consistent and inspired guest experience. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience as a Prep Cook. Passion for cultural cuisine and willingness to learn Indian flavor profiles and techniques. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills. Solid understanding of hot and cold food preparation. Working knowledge of kitchen equipment such as slicers, processors, mixers, etc. Able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team (English, Spanish, Hindi). A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is highly valued. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Must hold or obtain a valid Texas Food Handler certification prior to start.
