Job Description Aramark Nexus is building a pipeline of talented Cooks for a growing workforce community located between Wheeler and Pampa, Texas. We are hiring multiple Cooks and expect to continue adding culinary team members as operations grow. If you have experience working in restaurants, hospitality, catering, cafeterias, hotels, resorts, healthcare dining, or large-volume food service operations, we want to hear from you. Job Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production schedules Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency standards Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with food preparation, storage, and inventory management Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workstation Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special meal service Work collaboratively with kitchen and hospitality team members Deliver excellent service and hospitality to residents and guests At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Qualifications Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Grill Cook, Restaurant Cook, Kitchen Cook, or similar culinary role preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Passion for food, hospitality, and guest service This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
