Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic 1 to join our culinary team, bringing passion and expertise to our food service operations. Responsibilities Assist with menu planning and food preparation, ensuring dishes are made according to established recipes and standards Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Prepare ingredients and cook meals, demonstrating proficiency in knife skills and cooking techniques Support catering events by preparing and serving food in a professional manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and workstations Serve meals to guests or residents with friendly and attentive customer service Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe dining environment Experience Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience preferred Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in fine dining or catering settings is advantageous Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices Skilled in kitchen tasks such as knife skills, food presentation, and meal assembly Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry standards for cleanliness and safety Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent serving skills is highly valued
